Cabinet’s Appointment Committee Approves DoPT’s Proposal for Appointment Of 5 Officers In CBI
2. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of
Personnel and Training for:
(i) Appointment of Shri S. Veeresh Prabhu, IPS (MH:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI,
as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall
tenure of five years upto 13.10.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(ii) Appointment of Shri Rajiv Ranjan, IPS (SK:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as
Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure
of five years upto. 30.05.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(iii) Appointment of Ms. Sumedha Dwevedi, IPS (HP:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI,
as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall
tenure of five years upto 07.02.2029 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(iv) Appointment of Shri Vijayendra Bidari, IPS (TN:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI,
as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall
tenure of seven years upto 18.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(v) Appointment of Ms. Sharada Raut, IPS (MH:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as
Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure
of seven years upto 25.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
