JKSSB - Provisional Selection List for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in Public Works (R&B) Department advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2020 under Item No. 130 and Jal Shakti Department advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2021 under Item No. 01.
Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), (Civil) under Junior Engineer Item No. 130 vide Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2020 in Public Works (R&B) Department and under Item No. 01. vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2021 in Jal Shakti Department; and,
Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) conducted CBT examination for the various posts including the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) alongwith other posts from 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021. Subsequently, the JKSSB notified tentative answer key(s) vide Notice No. SSB/CoE/CBT/2021/74947501 dated 03.11.2021 for seeking Objections, if any, from candidates in respect of posts for which the aforesaid CBT examination was conducted; and,
Whereas, pursuant to disposal of the representations/ objections
submitted by the candidates, the Board notified the revised answer Key(s), in respect of posts for which Computer based Objective Type Written Examination (CBT) was conducted w.e.f. 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021, for information of the candidates, on JKSSB’s official website www.jkssb.nic.in from 08-12-2021 to 10-12-2021. However, the JKSSB received certain offline representations with regard to correctness of answers in respect of certain questions, displayed/shown in the notified revised answer key(s). The objections were examined in the Board and after due deliberations, it was deemed expedient, for the sake of fairness, transparency and to allay fears/misgivings amongst candidates and to ensure accuracy /correctness in the result, to provide one more opportunity to all candidates to register their grievances with regard to Answer Key(s), so that a detailed exercise is carried out once for all, and final answer key is displayed /notified; and,
Whereas, vide No. SSB/COE/2021/1-6 dated: - 01-01-2022, the Revised
Answer Key(s) in respect of the aforesaid posts was made live on official website of JKSSB for information and seeking objections, if any, from the candidates, as one time exception. The candidates desirous of submitting their representations /objections against the said Answer Key(s), were advised to submit their objections/representations in respect of any question/answer (if any), along-with documentary evidence/ reference within the specified time period i.e., upto 03-012022 through the online link provided on the official website of the JKSSB.
