JKSSB Selection List for the posts of Laboratory Attendant (UT cadre) in Home Department advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2020 dated 29.12.2020 under Item No. 234 - Kashmir Student
Whereas, these posts were notified by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2020 dated 29.12.2020 under Item No. 234; and
Whereas, as per the Indent/ Notification No. 06 of 2020, the qualification prescribed for the posts of Laboratory Attendant is as follows:
“Minimum 10+2 with Science subject having Math/Biology as one of the subject from any recognized Board of School Education; and
Whereas, as per the Notification the criteria for making the selection to these posts is as under: “The selection for the post shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination only; and Whereas, the computer based test for selection of candidates was conducted as per Notice No. SSB/COE/2021/7084-9278 dated 16.10.2021 w.e.f 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021 and from 08.11.2021 to 12.11.2021 in multiple shifts/sessions.; and
Whereas, on the performance of the candidates in the aforementioned computer based test, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), vide Notification No. SSB/COE/CBT/2021/8929-36 dated 20.12.2021 published the result/score sheet of the candidates and the candidates who were falling in the consideration zone were called for counselling/document verification before the designated committees vide Notice No. SSB/COE/CBT/2022/857-66 dated 02.02.2022 w.e.f 07.02.2022 both at Jammu and Srinagar; and
Whereas, on the basis of merit of the candidates and after scrutinizing the documents, a provisional selection list of 21 candidates alongwith waiting list of 12 candidates was notified by the Board vide Notification No.SSB/Secy/Sel/2022/4413-21 dated 26.04.2022 and it was also notified that any candidate who is having any grievance with regard to provisional selection list may furnish representations/objections through mail ID by or before 01.05.2022; and
Whereas, the JKSSB received documents from the candidates in whose cases the recommendations have been withheld in the provisional selection list; and
Whereas, the above said documents alongwith other relevant records of the candidates were placed before the Board in its 203rd Board Meeting held on 26.05.2022; and
Whereas, the above withheld recommendation cases were also
discussed threadbare in the Board Meeting and the Board decided to release thte selection list accordingly.
Now, therefore, in view of the above, a Selection List of 21 candidates for the posts of Laboratory Attendant in Home Department advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2020 under Item No. 234 (UT Cadre) alongwith the Waiting List of 12 candidates is enclosed as Annexure “A” to this Notification.
The selection list is, however, subject to the outcome of any writ petition(s) pending before Hon’ble Court of competent jurisdiction.
