Select List for the posts of Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies in
Cooperative Department - Kashmir Student
Whereas, the Cooperative Department, vide their communication No.
Coop/Estt/11/2020 dated 17.12.2020, referred Ninety One Posts (91), as per the following break-up, to the J&K Public Service Commission for being filled up in accordance with the relevant rules of the Department:
Whereas, the J&K Public Service Commission vide Notification No.05-PSC (DRP) of 2021 dated 11.05.2021 advertised the said posts; and Whereas, in response to the above notification, a total of 30,725 applications were received; and
Whereas, in pursuance of Rule 31 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021 as amended from time to time, a written test was conducted on 12.12.2021 in which 19369 candidates appeared.
The result of the written test was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2021/65 dated 22.12.2021 in pursuance of Rule 32 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2005 read with Rule 31 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021 as amended from time to time and 279 candidates qualified the written test and were called for interview; and
Whereas, one Sh. Raman Kumar S/O Sh. Madan Lal bearing Roll No.5129060 B.D. No.263 under SC category had been inadvertently (wrong entry of Roll No. by the candidate on OMR sheet) called for interview on 22.02.2022. The records were scrutinized and Sh. Snehal Bogal bearing correct Roll No.5129061 was called for interview on 24.02.2022 as per merit under SC category; and
Whereas, one Sh. Sohail Choudhary who had been called for interview under ST category under B.D.No.267 was found ineligible as he had passed the Graduation examination after the cut off date i.e. 16.06.2021. The candidature of Sh. Sohail Choudhary was cancelled vide this office order dated 23.02.2022.
Two candidates namely Adil Mohammad Naseem Mapnoo and Bilal Ahmad Akhoon who had scored equal marks in the written examination were called for the interview on 02.03.2022. As such, 280 candidates in all were called for interview; and
Whereas, the viva-voce of candidates who had qualified the written exam was conducted w.e.f.03.02.2022 to 23.02.2022 & 02.03.2022 with the assistance of Experts.
Now, therefore, on the basis of the performance in the interview coupled with the weight-age accorded to the marks secured in written test in pursuance of Rule 51 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980 as amended from time to time and other related parameters, the Merit of the candidates who have appeared in the interview has been drawn and is enclosed as Annexure-“A” to this Notification.
Consequent upon the above, the provisional select list of the candidates against the available posts is given in Annexure-B to this Notification.

1. The Commission reserves the right to have certificates/documents of the candidate verified, if at any later stage found expedient to do so. The Selection of the candidate is purely provisional and is subject to the outcome of writ petition(s) pending, if any, before any competent Court of law.
