Consequent upon the declaration of NEET UG,2021 result by the National Test Agency(NTA) on 01.11.2021 and subsequent Notifications / Notices issued by the Board with regard to verification of documents / filling up of online preference forms and other actions including Notification of Sports merit candidates notified vide Notice No.001-BOPEE of 2022 Dated 12-01-2022 , due application of reservation rules including Rule -17 of SRO 294 of 2005 dated 21-10-2005 as amended from time to time and on the basis of merit cum preferences, the list of candidates provisionally selected for undergoing MBBS/BDS Courses (2021) in various Colleges of the UT of J&K, is hereby notified as per Annexure “A” to this Notification, which shall be available on the official website of the Board viz www.jkbopee.gov.in only. The candidates shall report to the colleges allotted to them w.e.f 28-02-2022 to 03-03-2022 upto 3.00 P.M either through online or offline mode along with necessary documents including the following for admission:
1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).
2. Marks Card of 10+2.
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Category Certificate, if any.
5. Valid Income Certificate in respect of Poor & Backward Category candidates.
6. NEET Score Card 2021.
7. Compulsory Service Bond by the candidates belonging to the UT of Ladakh (Proforma of the Bond is annexed with Notice No. 084-BOPEE of 2021 dated 16-12-2021 which is available on website of the Board).
8. Any other document as may be required by the college authorities concerned.
The candidates who have been allotted Government /Private colleges in accordance with their online preferences in order of merit, shall mandatorily have to join against their provisionally allotted college / seat(s) upto 03-03-2022 positively and in case any candidatewho fails to join against his /her allotted seat(s) shall not be eligible to participate in 2nd round of up-gradation/allotment counselling under any circumstances.
The candidates who figure in the Provisional Merit List (PML), but have not participated in the first round of online counseling shall be eligible to participate in the 2nd round of physical counseling as and when notified by the Board after deposition of Rs.1500/- as nonrefundable counselling fee through POS Machines which shall be available at BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu.
The candidates who did not get a seat during online round of counseling shall also be eligible to participate in the 2nd round of physical counseling. It shall be sole responsibility of the college concerned to ensure proper check and verification of documents before the candidate(s) is allowed for admission and in case of any discrepancy in the requisite documents, the same shall be reported to the Board for further course of action under rules.
As mandated by the NMC/MCI/DCI regulations, the colleges shall keep their admission counters open even on Gazetted holidays/off days/ Sundays especially Admission Section and designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates in the process of admission. However, the candidates should, in their own interest, avoid waiting for the last day to complete the admission formalities; as such delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only.
After the last date of joining, the unfilled seat(s), if any, shall be communicated to the Board by the college(s) concerned, including those unfilled seats under Hindu Minority Quota and NRI Quota in ASCOMS and IDS which shall be filled up in 2nd round of counseling for which the date (s) shall be notified separately. {...
