Advertisement for Admission to six months Certificate Programme in Community Health from Ayurvedic/ Unani Graduates, BSc or GNM Nursing and Direct placement as MLHP/ CHO from BSc integrated course(Alongwith List of tentative District-wise vacancies)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are domicile of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for session January 2022 for:
(a) Admission to six months Certificate Programme in Community Health from Ayurvedic/ Unani Graduates, BSc or GNM Nursing and
(b) Direct placement as MLHP/ CHO from BSc integrated course.
The applicants who are strictly willing to serve in rural and hard to reach areas of UT of J&K at Sub- Centre level should only apply (In-service Regular/ Contractual candidates are not allowed to apply).
The Certificate Programme in Community Health course shall be conducted through IGNOU for selected Ayurvedic graduates/ BSc or GNM Nursing in Programme Study Centres at Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, District Hospital, Udhampur, District Hospital, Kathua and District Hospital, Rajouri in Jammu Division and District Hospital, Anantnag, District Hospital, Baramulla and CHC, Kupwara in Kashmir Division. For selected Unani graduates, the course shall be conducted through Directorate of Lifelong Learning, University of Kashmir in Programme Study Centres at District Hospital, Pulwama, District Hospital, Kulgam, District Hospital, Ganderbal and JLNM Hospital, Srinagar.
Selected candidates from BSc Integrated course who are willing to serve in rural and hard to reach areas shall be posted directly as MLHP / CHO, subject to successfully qualifying the common entrance test (CET).
The interested eligible candidates are advised to submit the application forms complete in all respects by or before 12-01- 2022 till 4:00 pm in the office of State Health Society, at Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare, Nagrota, Jammu for Jammu division and Division Office, NHM, Ground Floor, Block-A, Old Secretariat Srinagar for Kashmir division.
Terms & Conditions:
1. All shortlisted eligible candidates will have to appear in the common entrance test (CET), conducted by State Health Society. A combined merit list of successful candidates will be prepared based on performance in entrance test, for allotment of Programme Study Centre in case of 6 month Certificate Programme in Community Health or direct placement in case of BSc Integrated nursing course.
2. The number of candidates for each district shall be as per the actual number of available vacancies. However, the district wise tentative number of vacancies is placed as Annexure “A”, which may increase or decrease. Selection of candidates for undergoing the course or direct placement will be as per the district wise combined merit list. However, in case of non availability of suitable eligible candidates in any district or incase of securing below the 30% marks in the common entrance test, State Health Society will consider the candidates of other districts on the basis of Divisional Merit.
3. All original documents shall be checked/verified by the State Health Society after qualifying the common entrance test.
4. All the selected eligible candidates shall have to submit a Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) of Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand Only) duly pledged in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO), NHM, J&K which shall be released after completion of one year of job tenure.
5. The selected candidates shall also submit an affidavit/undertaking duly attested by First Class Judicial Magistrate to the extent that mere completion of training course or qualifying the common entrance test in case of BSc Integrated nursing candidates shall not vest any right to claim for hiring in the Union Territory on Contractual basis under NHM, besides other terms and conditions laid down in the format of affidavit, to be notified subsequently.
6. In case a candidate is selected for the CPCH and successfully complete the six (6) months certificate course or successful candidates of BSc Integrated nursing course, they shall be placed at any of the identified Health & Wellness CentreSub Centre which shall be strictly non-transferable at the instance of the candidate.
7. The engagement shall be purely on contractual basis, initial Contract for hiring shall be up to 31st March of such financial year and further extension will be subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidates and approval of post by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
8. Application form is available on the official website www.jknhm.com, which is the only authentic source of information with respect to National Health Mission, J&K. This office shall not be responsible for any inconvenience caused to anybody due to misleading/false information available at any other website.
9. The applicants are required to keep themselves updated regarding any information pertaining the said selection process through the above mentioned official website. The State Health Society, NHM, J&K shall not be responsible for any lapse on the part of the candidates on this account.
List of documents to be attached with the application:
i. Date of Birth Certificate.
ii. Residence proof of district of domicile of J&K as per the format issued by concerned Tehsildar.
iii. Marks certificate of all years/Profs of the requisite qualification.
iv. Degree Certificate from the recognized University/ Institution.
v. Internship Completion Certificate in case of Ayurvedic/ Unani graduates
vi. Renewed Registration Certificate from the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine, J&K.
vii. Diploma/ Degree recognized from State Medical Faculty.
viii. Renewed Nursing counsel registration Certificate/ SMF registration Certificate for BSc/GNM candidates and BSc Integrated course.
Applications not falling in the prescribed criteria or without aforesaid documents shall be rejected out rightly without any communication to the applicant.
