IMPORTANT NOTICE
Subject: Seeking of preferences for allocation of Department(s) from provisionally selected candidates for Class-IV posts advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020 -regarding.
Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) under Accelerated Recruitment Drive advertised 8575 District/ Divisional/UT cadre posts of Class-IV vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020, in pursuance of the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 notified vide S.O 184 dated 4th of June, 2020
and;
Whereas, these rules inter-alia provide that the procedure for allocation of the Departments shall be prescribed by the Government; and,
Whereas, vide Government Order No. 692-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 06.08.2021, the General Administration Department, conveyed that the principle/procedure for allocation shall be adopted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board for allocation of the Departments among the candidates selected for Class-IV posts shall be as determined on the principle of ‘Merit-cum- Preference’.
Now, therefore, in view of the above, all such candidates who are figuring in the list enclosed as annexure “A” to this notification are hereby called upon to indicate their order of preference for allocation of Departments through link provided on the official website of the Board i.e., www.jkssb.nic.in from 16.10.2021 ( 12.00 noon) upto 17.10.2021 ( 12.00 noon).
Note: Candidate(s) who fails to indicate preference fully or partially, will be deemed to have agreed to any allocation of department(s), in respect of such
candidate(s), as shall be made by the Board.
