What does application sent to PFMS for payment mean in national portal scholarship?
Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is a platform for e-payment of subsidy under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to both Aadhar based & Non- Aadhar based bank accounts through NPCI.
In national scholarship portal, if mention as “application sent to pfms for payment” in their status then he or she is selected for the said scholarship. Within short period applicant will get scholarship money but for national scholarship portal will disburse money between January - March of every year.
How long does it take to receive a scholarship if the PFMS status is showing that it is under processing (the bank is CBS)?
If the PFMS status is showing it to be under process, it’ll get credited within 4–5 days. I’ve observed this for all my installments. But this is based on experience & it may depend upon processing capacity of bank & their certain rules & regulations. It’s certain that the sanctioned fund has been disbursed & will be surely credited shortly.
My scholarship status is showing payment sent to PFMS but had not received scholarship yet. Do I have the chance to get the scholarship?
𝙸 Am under the scholarship scheme of NSP, my Application status is Application send to pfms for payment. from dacades i have been waiting but still i have not recieved any scholarship in my bank account. my application is verified by the college and the state officier and the application is forwarded to pfms for payment processing, my payment details have already been accepted by pfms But still i haven’t recieved my 3rd year scholarship. My Application form was filled in fresh 2018-2019. from past one year i have been waiting for the pfms to make the payment transaction.i dont knw will i ever get my scholarship from pfms.i dont knw whom to ask help.
-Check your Account 𝚗𝚞𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛 is correct which is provided by you.
-Show your updated passbook to them.
-Check from Bank that your account no is correctly entered for credit.
Most in the cases credit account no appears to be wrong.
-Check returned amount at PFMS end. Some time after 2–3 days due to some difficiency or trouble in system it happened.
-Contact for correctness of their statement ‘transaction is successful’.
No worry, your scholarship amount is safe and this is the duty of PFMS for correct payment. They will examine your claim and payment will be done.

PFMS is showing under processing bank CBS from 15 days, yet many says scholarship come with 4-5 days of showing this. Why?
In my case the same status is showing from last 2 months. It is not true that the scholarship will credit within 4, 5 days , we can't expect such a speedy processing from government department. It depend on how the concerned departments in your state is efficient in timely dispose the process. The main factor is the availability of fund with the department, if the fund is not yet released for scholarship then it will take time to get scholarship as well.
What does it mean by "Bank Account Validation not send PFMS" in India?
I assume you are talking about govt scholarship for students through National Scholarship Portal and PFMS. So here is my answer......
Since the procedure for grant of scholarship is like that when one submits the application form, It is then subject to various verification levels like COLLEGE VERIFICATION, DISTRICT NODAL OFFICER & STATE NODAL OFFICER VERIFICATION. Once these verification levels are done then a merit list is prepared for grant of scholarship. After that scholars(students) bank details are sent to PFMS to validate the bank acc and after this step scholarship is disbursed in the acc of student through DBT(direct benefit transfer).
Here student gets confused as as if my verification level is marked green (tick mark) then why my bank acc validation is not sent to pfms for scholarship.
The reason is that despite of the fact that your documents are ok(real) the state or central govt has a fixed amount of scholarships. e.g., if from any state the no. of verified students are 2000 but govt has a quota for only 700 students. So a merit list is prepared here on the basis of previous academic record and only those 700 students out of 2000 students are eligible for scholarship who had high merit in previous class among others.
Afterwards, there bank acc details are sent to PFMS for validation and the rest students bank acc details are not sent to PFMS. Hence, NSP website shows "Bank Account Validation Not Send To PFMS".
So in your case you will be having a red cross on merit list thats why your bank acc details are not sent to PFMS which means unfortunately you will not get scholarship this year so work hard improve your grades and better luck next year.
Further if your merit list column has a green tick and still you are getting this message then contact your state nodal officer their contact details are given in NSP website.
