[ Govt Medical College Srinagar] | Shortlist of the candidates for Written test to be held on 27-12-020 for Selection/ Engagement of the candidates as ANMs on academic arrangement basis/NHM
Whereas, vide this office Notification No. 05-NGS of 2020, dated: 16.10.2020 read with corrigendum No. NGS/MC/20/2327-31, dated: 20.10.2020, applications on prescribed format were invited from the eligible for engagement as ANMs on academic arrangement basis under SRO 24 of 2019, dated: 10.01.2019 and on contract basis under National Health Mission;
Whereas, in response to the aforesaid notification 5086 applications were received by this office upto the cut off date;
Whereas, these contractual engagements are being made on fast-track basis in the interest of patient care to ensure smooth
functioning of the associated hospitals and this institution does not have the required infrastructure like other recruiting agencies to conduct written test/interview of so many candidates and that too in the present covid pandemic;
Whereas, keeping in view the seating capacity available in our institution and Govt. Dental College, Srinagar, it has been decided to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test in the ratio of 1:15 and for that purpose the following criteria has been adopted:
1. Weightage to the marks obtained in 10th Class = 25 points on pro rata basis
2. Weightage to the aggregate marks obtained in FMPHW/MMPHW Course = 25 points on pro rata basis.
Whereas, on the basis of the aforesaid criteria, the provisional cut off merit for different categories has been arrived as under:-

Now, therefore, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the candidates appearing in “Annexure-A (available on our website www.gmcs.edu.in) to this notification have been provisionally shortlisted for participation in the written test to be held on 27.12.2020 on the basis of afore mentioned criteria. Any candidate who
falls within the cut off merit, but his/her name does not figure in the
shortlist may approach the Main Office of Govt. Medical College, Srinagar with the following documents upto 19th December, 2020 and thereafter no claim/objection whatsoever shall be entertained :
i. Hardcopy of the application form
ii. All Marks sheets of FMHPW/ MMPHW diploma course.
iii. Reserve Category certificate if applicable.
Moreover, any candidate having objection to the marks
indicated against the shortlisted candidate(s) in “annexure-A ” may also represent upto 19th December, 2020 with documentary proof.
Note: i). The shortlisting of the candidates for participation in the
written test is purely provisional and shall not confer any right upon the candidates to claim selection on the basis of mere inclusion in the shortlist.
ii). Any candidate having furnished wrong information in the online application form and figures in the enclosed shortlist on
the basis of such false information shall be summarily disqualified on verification of his/her certificates.
iii). Despite repeated notices some candidates did not bother to update their aggregate marks as a result of which this office could not determine their merit position and as such they have not been considered for shortlisting. However, as stated above if any such candidate falls within the cut off merit he/she may approach the Main Office of Govt. Medical College, Srinagar with the relevant documents upto 19th December, 2020 and thereafter no claim/objection whatsoever shall be entertained. Click here to Download full Shortlist.
