No Gunfight at Parigam, only Search Operation: Local Sources
Pulwama, Sep 13: A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday reported by several news agencies is altogether fake.
An official told News agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a joint team of Police, army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
Search operation is already going but there has been no confirmed news of gunfight.
Reports claim that the patrolling party of Army came under attack from militants after that entire area was cordoned off by forces.
