AN OPEN LETTER TO JKBOSE BY CLASS 10th, 11th & 12th STUDENTS | REDUCE MORE SYLLABUS or CONDUCT EXAMS in MARCH

A letter headed "Students Appeal to JKBOSE" is nowadays viral on every social media platforms. Class 10th, 11th & 12th Students are trying their level best so that their voices reach to JKBOSE & concerned Govt officials.

The letter reads as,
"With due respect and great regards,
we the students of Class 10th, 11th & 12th appeal to JKBOSE that we are not satisfied with your decision of reducing only 30% syllabus as CBSE had reduced 30% syllabus and students have to appear in the examination in March".

The letter further read as,
"As you know that schools are closed from past one year first by revoking Article 370 & 35A and after in March Govt announced lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic, we have studied only for 3 months, in these months we studied few topics only. Concerned teachers provided online classes which were not regular & also network connectivity here is very poor (2g) and mostly internet was snapped,  due to which we faced a lot of problems in attending online classes. Also majority of the students belong to poor families and have unavailability of resources i.e., mobile phones, computers and mainly internet."

The letter ends at closing note as,
"At last we request to JKBOSE that we want 45%+ reduction in syllabus or March Session for the conduct of Board Exams so that we can pass our examination without any depression, as entire student community is in depression nowadays.  We also request our media to highlight this issue so that this message will reach to JKBOSE and the decision will be in our favour".

The letter ends here.
